My dad has been on PD for 18 months. For the past 2 months he has been experiencing cronic nausea. He does not throw up; he just feels nauseated all the time. It has gotten to the point where all he talks about is dying. We have had him in the hospital twice and they really cannot determine what is causing this nauseous feeling. They put him on Reglan, thinking that it could be neropothy of the stomach. The reglan has not worked.
He also has dry eye and dry mouth. We had plugs inserted in his tear ducts to hold the moisture in his eyes, but the condition inhibits his activities greatly. He can't go outside because the mildest wind disturbs his eyes even more.
Please if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.
