Trying to find a skilled nursing facility (nursing home) for a PD pt in Middle Tennessee. Have been unsuccessful at this time.

Try asking your RN's to recommend a Nursing home in that Area....RN's at your Drs office or in the PD dept are responsible for training of the Staff

We have tried over the years to train nursing home personnel to perform ccpd, but have been unsuccessful thus far. Nursing homes don't really have the personnel. The best possible solution would be to have trained pd personnel travel to nursing homes to perform the procedure for these patients, but that will require a lot of roadtime and man hours.
