I'm 88 and my creatinine just went above 3.0 for the first time. Doc says dialysis is a year or two away. We live in a double-wide and my wife is not too strong. I'm concerned about storage, floorloading, and the weight of the dialysate if my wife has to handle the boxes/bags.

get a name of a nephrologist from your md as there are many options for dialysis from a clinic to capd they will be able to find the right one for you

If your living situation is not ideal for home treatments, they will most likely not have you as a candidate for a home treatment. If you go on dialysis, it will probably have to be in-center treatments.
