I'm a little bit confused about how this site works. I posted the message about living with pd a long time ago. However, the date says 5/4/02. I think that it was last year when I originally wrote. I was glad to see that someone actually responded, but still confused about the date of the message.Maybe some1 can explain to me how this works. To the reply posted 5/4/02, how are you? have you made any choices, (pd/transplant?). Well, thanks for talking to me. Sometimes I write, and no one ever response!

Hi, Kat. I wrote that response. I guess I came across the message and didn't realize the date on it and thought I would respond. You are close to me and age with two teens. I haven't met too many ppl close to my age. I have started the process of transplant and pd assessment. I went to the pd unit to have a look and I was so overwhelmed I thought I would faint. I am pretty sure I can do this though. I just wish I didn't have to. So things are moving along slowly. This may be my last summer without any surgery or dialysis. I hope I can enjoy it fully.
