I constantly ask my clinic as to what I should expect an average night time UF should be. They can't tell me.

My UF runs highly erratic and can go from just a few hundred m.ls. to over 1,000. This is a big issue with me because I have a real hard time controlling my drinking. I use a lot of 4.25% solution attempting to keep UF up, at the risk of damaging the membrane. HOwever, my overall UF has not declined when I average it out.

How do I control my intake if I don't know what to expect on discharge? Looking for answers.

How does your UF compare to your fluid intake the day before? Discuss this with your nurse.
