I'm a chronic hemodialysis patient for 15+ years. Two months ago I was hospitalized for a hernia surgery for a little over a month (there were complications), and during that time my fistula arm became swollen from the hand to the shoulder. It deflates a little when I raise it, but when I'm sitting it swells up again. Has anyone had this experience? I'd appreciate any advice, or comments. thanks.
i dont think so there is a corelation between your surgery and limb swelling, there must be a distal stinosis which is disturbing for venous drinage, better you consult your vascular surgen and go for next step
