Pre ESRD education- does your unit have a pre-dialysis education program to teach patients about the treatment choices and access information? Do new patinets know to ask for a bridge access and a fistula if a fistula has not been placed before the start of dialysis? What type of pt ed materials would you like to have for new/old patients? How many of your pts use the internet for info?
