I have heard about and are excited about seeing the new vasca lifesites. I have a meeting set up with a VASCA rep soon. Can anybody give me any feedback, good or Bad?

We have one Life Site in our unit. I have her as my patient. I am a 14 yr. certified tech. and I love it. I am so excited! It is out of sight and she can shower. No pain on insertion of needles and easy to access. I am in favor of it! We are getting a 400 BFR much more than anything she has had before. No bleeding time afterwards. The patient and I are both in favor to them!

Hemo RN,
We are into week 8 with the Life Site, We are having a little problem with the medial port as the pull is sluggish at best. But with a A/V switch we get 400 BFR with no problem and the rep hopes that as the swelling continues to go down the pull will become better but even if not it is certainly better than any accesses she has had prior. I like to put her on and have been nominated to do it. Really easy once you get the routine down. Please email me if you have any questions I might be able to answer...pjjshouse@aol.com. |
