I had an attempted fistula that did not work in my wrist and then a graft in my arm 3 weeks ago. I have had severe swelling, no use of my arm (it's like wood), tingling of my fingers like they are asleep and constant pain from my wrist to my elbow. Is this normal and when will it subside? My doctor says suck it up basically. I am a pretty tuff person so am not sure what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. judy--msju@msn.com

How is the access now? I was interested to find out. You didn't say what size needles were used. Maybe they were using too large, too soon.
