Homocysteine has been shown to be an independent risk factor for CVD and Access Thrombosis. Studies have shown that ESRD patients are 33 times more likely to have an elevation than the normal population. Spectracell Lab has a testing program that can identify the risk and give the clinician a course and direction on how to lower Homocysteine by supplementation. We do a testing battery, looking at cells and not serum or plasma to define what is causing the elevation in the Homocysteine level. Our tests are patented and can not be duplicated by any other laboratory.Whether your center is independent or corporate owned we can help.
