We are looking for a 2% chlorhexidine preparation to disinfect the catheter caps prior to opening them. I am wondering what is being used out there. Are you using one of the prep sticks to swab around the cap before opening or is there a solution available to apply to gauze to wipe around the cap? What brand and who is the supplier?
