What way is best for the needles to be inserted in my av fistula?

That is a very good question!! To answer your question I need to ask you more questions. Do you put in your own needles? Is you fistula a new or old fistula. Have there been any problems with cannulation such as infiltrations or poor flow? Is your fistula in the lower or upper arm. Overall size of the fistula? Needle size and do the needles have backeyes? The question is not so basic - cannulation is the most important part of proper care and use of a fistula.
