Our Medical Director is considering buying equipment such as the Crit Line to help us with access monitoring. Has anyone out there used one? If so, what are the good points and bad? We have had an increase in access problems even though we currently do dynamic pressure monitoring. This has been somewhat successful, but obviously not good enough. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks

Hi Ruth,
Well I have just started with In-Line Diagnostics (Crit-Line) as a Clinical Specialist. The new Crit-Line III monitors will provide ABF (access blood flow rates) and recirc %. The great side to the Crit-Line is the monitor can be used daily as the blood volume monitoring tool. It can help decrease the hypotension events during hemodialysis. The O2 Sat can also help identify patinets that have poor treatments related to low O2 and it is never recognized. You can learn more about the Crit-Line at the web site www.crit-line.com
Would love to hear feedback from any units using the Crit-Line.
Deborah
