Is anyone aware of a written procedure for performing a simulated treatment on a Dialog+ machine? If not, any tips?

I know of no written procedure but it simple all you need is a syringe on the art. transducer and you need to make a rig to connect the dialyzer couplings to and a hose from that to a graduate to measure fluid to remove and follow the prompts to fake the test set treatment to like 30 min and go. you also need a fluid filled hose for the SAD.

Have you looked at the repair matrix? It has procedures there for running therapies following repairs. I think it is in chapter3. I got a large copy in tech class.

CJ, I think you mean to hook the syringe to the venous transducer
All what you need to do is to set up blood tubing and the dialyzer on the machine and carry out priming after which you can then hang normal saline on the arterial side on the blood tubing and the venous side of the blood tubing be connected to the arterial with y connector this will stimulate the treatment.
just set up a whole setup with a single use dialyzer and after priming, set your goal for like 200 over 4 hours then hook your lines to a graduated cylinder with like 2000cc's in it, clamp your saline lines and have the cylinder be the patient.....when a half an hour goes by see if it took 250 from the cylinder. after the treatment just clamp everything and keep the dialyzer and lines and reuse it on the next machine.....one setup usually lasts me about 15 - 20 simulated therapies
