Hahaha there are three of us standing in front of a 2008k and none of us can remember how to set the tubing size for the blood lines. Any help would be fabulous.

Well, open the blood pump door and the tubing size will be shown, adjust with your arrows... Hope this helps...

Also remember that there is a dip switch setting on the LP955 board. If you are using an odd size tubing like 6.4 then you have to set the switch. If you are using the more common size tubing like 8.0 the switch has to be set the other way. The dip switch settings on the new board are something to check when you replace the LP 955 board.

If I remember open the Blood pump door and then it'll show the tubing size, then press both up & down arrow's until the tubing indicator blinks, then use the up & down arrows to set the tubing size.
hope this helps.

If you are using a Odd size tubing like 6.4 ktech the last dip switch should be set to 0. That's all you have to change.

Dip switch 4 can also be set for the time before an audible alarm occurs when the blood pump stops. The choice is either 15 seconds or 30 seconds depending on the setting. And when you look in the book and see those other switches that are labeled "For Future Use" you have to wonder what Fresenius is developing? Hopefully whatever it is, it will be more dependable than the present K machine blood pump motors are.
