We are soon replacing our old Prisma CRRT's with new machines. Has anyone had experience with the Baxter Aquarius good/bad.

We did an eval on this and 2 other machines, needless to say we went with prismaflex. Do a good eval both biomed and nursing.

Hi - do you mind sharing the evaluation joebiomed? My company is looking to buy x40 CRRT machines and would appreciate any, all input / advice.

I do not mind talking with you about but I need to watch what I'm posting on a public domain. Every machine we looked at had pros and cons, it took us a very long time to come to a decision due to manufacturers dealing with FDA issues such as recalls, approvals etc. You should still do an evaluation of all the machines you are considering to use. Pay attention to safety issues, ergonomics for the nurses, user friendliness and future uses you may want to use the machine for. If you want to talk more you can contact me at jemh@umich.edu.
