Do you mean the 2008H or the K??? Either or, you are going to hear success stories and failures about this piece of equipment. Then again you can hear success stories and failures of other manufactures equipment, ie Gambro, Baxter, Braun, and thats basically it. There all pieces of equipment that have a tendency to break down. They are all roughly the same amount to fix and maintain. Some a bit cheaper than others... Rule of thumb I have used and have been very successful at, Look at the features and benefits and then find out about the companies customer service, public relations, etc. Call your Rep and see how long it takes them to call you back, Call their service area and see how long it takes them to call you back, so on and so on.. I'd rather have a the machine that gives me the best customer service along with it. a company that will go the extra yard to make things better. I have been with the same company for many yrs and thats all Im gonna say about that!!!!

I agree with augusta...you are going to hear good and bad things about all machines in the market. I have worked with all machines out in the field and I will tell you that the Braun Machine has good remarks. Our staff loved it and the customers that I called that have the machine say very good things about their customer service. Good Luck in your adventures.
