l am working on fressenius 2008E, the machine is adding fluid to the patient body, even when the ultrafiltration is set to remove fluid.
l have have change the LP 430 and tthe balance chammber as also been replace. please advice on what next can be done.

is this on one patient or all. do patients eat or drink on machine and if so is that added to the goal section to remove? is the scale accurate and is the patient or patients wearing the same thing before and after treatment?

Keep in mind that the hydraulics are volumetric, is it passing the pressure holding test? Is your UF pump volume correct? 1ml/cc per stroke? What if anything is the staff doing during the patients treatment, saline bolus, etc? There should have been a reason you exchanged the balancing chamber? Can you elaborate? Happens with just this patient or others as well?
