Why are machines calibrated at different conductivity rates? You know, like one machine has a starting conductivity of 13.7 and another is calibrated for 14.1. Why not calibarate all machines the same?

There are other factors that determine your conductivity ex:Acid & Bicarb pump, balancing chamber & heat calibrations on any given machine these calibrations r not the same. And never wiil be. and machince setting 1k, 2k , 3k bath etc while on the floor. Also get to know your equipment techs at the clinics. Ask questions this will keep them on their toes. Servicing machines become second nature and we sometimes forget the most basic stuff.
