I have a machine that will run through heat disinfect down to 1 second left and instead of completing cycle and turning off it will stop at 1 second remaining and alarm. Any ideas??

This is usually a bad power logic board. It can also be caused by a dip switch on the function board (I forget which one) being in the improper position. Good luck and keep us posted!

I have seen this one a couple of times, and it was the power logic board.
IC 9 is a chip on the power logic board that can cause this to happen. On H machines and some K machines it is a socketed replacable chip. On newer K machines it is soldered directly to the board without a socket, and would not be an easy replacement unless you are proficient at soldering multi-pin chips.

The last encounter I had with this problem was the machine had 1 second left to finish the heat disinfect cycle and it went into a constant alarm, did not auto shut down. Started with the power logic board, but the resolve was the function board, make sure to hang on to your IC that is with the board, for a swap, so that all of your calibrations will still be available, if not, you will have to re-calibrate.
