I had one of the physicians at my clinic ask how long a Fresenius 2008H machine will run. I replied that they will run until you stop throwing money at them. This made me wonder, what is your oldest and highest hour running machine at your clinic? My oldest is a 1999 that has a bit over 31,000 hours.

I just replaced 18 H's from 1992-1994. First generation. They all had between 38-48,000 hours.

My oldest machine which is K machine between my two clinics is 6856 hours. Old machine I know.

Our oldest H has 62,000 hours. From the other posts, I realized I am not the only one working on old equipment. The H machines look like they are from the 70's. The first time I opened one up I was expecting to see vacuum tubes!

Our unit had some of the first 'H' machines. They had the lower power supply. A hydraulic leak sparked your attention! That was 1992-93. I remember they also had lots of software problems as well, and many cracked valve bodies.
