There is an opening in the Tidewater VA area for a Biomed tech that wants to contribute skills and experience to a great team.I was notified yesterday about the opening , and if not already occupied with things I would jump at this.I know the guys that are on this team and you will not meet a better group to work with.RAI web site has more info...

It's a great group that trusts your knowledge and experience. Management trusts that you know how to do your job and pretty much let yiu schedule your work load. The Biomed works with the Clinical Manager, not for them. The biomed budget does not affect the clinic budget. The Clinical and Biomed are seperate but work together. The CD's seem to respect and trust the biomed's input and are appreciative for any help you can give. The B.E.S.T. group is a very experienced group ( probably why some were cast out of the village) and the Mangement team encourages input for improvemnet in the group. It is a growing group in a growing company that's trying to do Dialysis the right way.

Checked with DAVITA , they have a freeze on hiring ..ect.. need a lot of good people but will not hire them..I think to many on the biomed side feel threatened by quality people coming aboard...look what they did to GAMBRO guys... The village may be crumbling....

Seems like something is up. Hiring freeze, CEO'S and CFO'S starting to cash out huge amounts of stocks. That and the upcomming reimbursment rate depending on adequacy makes me wonder. I sure hope all their reported numbers (KT/V) are the real deal. Just a thought.

Davita biomed top brass has little input on what goes on at the ground level. If clinical people want to cut the biomed budget top guys can do little to stop it.
