all the time... depending on how they clean the floor... sometimes they don't move the machines, instead they splash water + agent, all over, leading to corrosion....
On my annual PMs I lay the machine on a milk crate and clean all the gunk off the wheels and locking mechnanism. Usually the wheel locking up is caused by the locking mechanism froze up and not releasing the wheel. Usually a good cleaning and lubricating fixes the problem.

You may have a broken brake cable this will cause the brake to be on all the time.

All the time. Our machines have a double wheel design. We find end caps from blood lines and syringes jammed between the two wheels quite often. Clinic staff have a bad habit of tossing the little caps and they miss the garbage cans. We keep a tally going in the tech shop--most end caps found in one wheel. Currently 11 is the record.

ya when i do my annual pm's. I will take the hydraulics completely out of the machine and inspect the wheels. i will lubricate all moving parts outside of the machine as well and scrub it down. Then i got some fresenius paint and will paint the outside of the machine to make it look brand new.
