I am down to 10% function left in my transplanted kidney that I have had for over 30 years. I know that I will soon be on dialysis but I have no idea what it is like nowadays and I was just a kid when I was on it before. I'm very nervous and full of anxiety over losing this kidney. Does anyone know any advice or support groups online? Thanks.

I feel your post would be better served in the nursing forum this is a technicial forum. However, the technology has came a long ways since you were last on dialysis. There is so many new devices out there to help patients I think you will be suprised as to how far the dialysis feild has come. Post this in the nursing forum or email me with some specific questions and I'll see what I can get for you.
