Hello everyone. im new here. I have read many posting here with very good answers that have solve many of my problems.. Thank you everyone..

I Have two questions.. 1.Can anyone tell me or direct me to the proper documentation where it states the need for a red/white check valve on the inlet to acid & bicarb pump if you have central feed.. 2. Does anyone know any training on any RO system. I heard that you need to be certified to work with RO systems.

Certified to work on water systems? WHat do you have to know? Worked on them for years, no one ever asked for certs. Push water through the membrane and verify the TDS and rejection is good.
Point the way that says that you have to be ceritifed, maybe I can get a free school out of it.

chettrick,

Check AAMI RD52, 9, Personnel. It talks about training by the manufacturer or using materials provided by the manufacturer.

All the certificates I have just say I completed the class. They do not say I am certified by the manufacturer to work on the equipment.

I've heard that soon all patient care technicians will need to be certified soon. There are several training sessions out there to help you take the tests to become certified. I know the Ameriwater one is very good and reviews all water treatment equipment.
Some manufacturers might certify you in their specific equipment if you go through their training, but that has nothing to do with the PCT certification requirements.

Thanks Dealer, I will look it up.

As a PCT, then you come in contact with patients which I can see the training for. I have gotten certificates of completion also which is the same as going to a vacation spot for the spiel to get the free weekend.
