Try testing the heater rod. If for any reason it shorts, and they do, it will take out the fuses on your power supply as soon as you try to turn it on and it will act as though there is no power to it. ie dead 2000K If you have switched power supplies it would blow these instantly. It takes one minute to ohm out and a good heater rod will be 11-12 ohms.

after checking the heater let me know if you checked the harness at the bottom of the mother board that comes from the power supply.

Still working on it. The heater rod ohmed out at 22 so replaced that and rechecked the fuses in the "new" power supply that I had. All were good. GFCI outlet that i'm plugging the machine into is good. I've replaced the ribbon from power supply to power logic board as well as the 24v harness to mother board. My mother board will come in today 10-2-09 so I will replace that and hopefully have some luck. Does anyone think it could be the MB? It doesn't make sense to me but i'm running out of options here..

There's not much left to replace. Mother boards can cause all sorts of problems. Let us know what happens when you change it. I know this sound stupid but since you did have a defective heater rod I would take another known good power supply and pop it in and give it one more try. Another thing i would do is go to your power supply and check the voltages if one is being pulled down that would be your problem. Just find what is pulling it down. Could just be a line short. Let us know what developes either way. We're here to help.

Also unplugging all the modules from the motherboard, including the blood pressure, sometimes helps find the problem. Sometimes a short is in one of the modules.

Check the bridge rectifier in the power supply.A bad rectifier will blow a fuse upon turning machine on.
