Hello,

I was wandering if anybody knows what PLASMAPHERESIS machines are available on the market in USA right now.

I know of 2 but can only remember the name of one and that's the Gambro Prisma machine. As soon as it comes to me for the second I'll post.

Prisma and Prismaflex work by the mean of a filter. Spectra and Optia work by the mean of centrifugation.

We are using the fresenius dialysis machine and plasmaflux filters for all our plasma exchanges.

Isn't Prisma CRRT not phereseis?

it is a CRRT machine, and it can achieve Plasma exchange by filtration.
