What stickers / documentation do you post on your machine as far as maintenance goes and where do you purchase them?

At our unit we doo not post stickers on the machines. we only keep ER-1 logs in a binder for all work performed on each machine.

One inspector recommended that our stickers reflect the annual PM only, because that is when the safety test is done. We still sticker every machine we PM or check in, and include a "Next PM Due" date on the sticker. This places at least some of the responsibility on the staff, so we are somewhat less likely to find that smaller machines have been hidden away to keep us from finding them. This may not be a big problem in just a dialysis unit, but I work in the main hospital and it is a HUGE problem there. =(

Allen,

You can customize your stickers to include whatever information you'd like. I have Last PM Date/Hours, Next PM Date/Hours, and Tech Initials. United Ad Labels is one of the companies out there... www.veriad.com

Keep it within inspection order (KISS system); completed in a safe and timely matter.
Goodluck with all your endeavors.
