Has anyone had a Fresenius 2008-H stop and alarm with 1 sec. left in heat disinfect. One of my machines does this on average 2 times a week. Any suggestions are appreciated

what does it alarm? I had one that alarmed flow error like that one time and it ended up being a valve on the balance chamber. I forget which one but thats at least somewhere to start. Good luck

Try either the fuction or logic boards this is what tech support told me. They also said that if it is only doing this than they would not replace it just for that.

Yes I had a F2008h machine that did the same thing. I too got the same line from Fmc tech support. After troubleshooting some more I found out it was the heater rod going bad. When the temperature get too hot the above safe limits the machine will shut off. I change the heater rod and I have not had problem since. It workded for me I hope it helps you. Keep us informed. I would like to know how you get it fixed.

Dip switch #2 on the function board controls if the machine automatically powers down after heat disinfect. Flip it down then up and see if it cures this problem.
