Has anyone purchased or know anything about Wil-med Global refurbished dialysis machines particularly the Baxter 1550? If anyone has a good suggestion where we can get refurbished dialysis machines for shipment to Lao PDR please inform us.

We purchesed a few batches of 1550's from Wil-Med. The first batches were in good shape. But the more we bought, the worse they got. I have about 20 machines that i had to upgrade and rebuild most of the components. Also they repaint the machines with something that is not compatable to 409 or bleach water, so most of my machines look terible after only a couple years.
The machine that I purched from GIA has turned out to be a better purchase even though it was about $500 more than Wil med.

Thanks for the advice. We are trying to set up a small dialysis clinic here in Laos with very little overhead so we can't afford to go with the wrong people. Any more suggestions on refurbished machines is welcome.

I would contact Baxter directly at 800-553-6898..I would buy refurbs from the manufacturer..That way you know that they have been looked over thoroughly
