We are looking at water systems, and are interested in the Gambro CWP. For those who have the system, what is your opinion of it? Thanks in advance.

Gambro CWP's - brilliant! Reliable, easy to maintain, quiet. Have got them on 4 sites, oldest is 8 years, only had 1 fault.

I hear good thing of the CWP. I alos heard that Mar Cor Services has installed a Heat System for DCI in Tenn. That is running great and very cost competitive.

We have the CWP at two of the units in our area and they have been awesome. One is just over a year old and the other is about 6 months old. The only problems we've had is some of the PVC unions coming a little loose every once in a while and melting endotoxin filters which we correct by switching to new filters designed to run with the heat disinfect system (not everything can be perfect, right?). Other than that, they've been awesome. I honestly don't know the price of them but I've been told it's pretty high. Cost aside, it runs circles around our other units.

Thanks for the replies. GTS, I was under the impression that the CWP uses no PVC. Is that correct? Just wondered since you mentioned PVC unions.

I'm sorry... some of the piping (not a whole lot) in the RO is CPVC, not PVC (my fault). However, the entire loop is constructed out of PEX tubing and stainless steel fittings.
