I have a comment or two: at the risk of stating the obvious, each individual needs to edit these labels so they are specific to his/her facility. I did not think you were allowed to by-pass any carbon tank at any time. If we were to do this here in So. Cal. and it was discovered by a surveyor, they would have our gonads in a vise. Anyone else have this experience or threatened experience. Chuck, do the new C of Cs allow for this? It has been alleged that you are sitting by your computer with all the references and manuals all dog eared, highlighted and tabbed.
YOU SHOULDN'T REALLY BYPASS IT DURING NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS BUT IF YOUR CHLORINE TESTS ARE OVER .1 MG/L AND THEY ARE BELOW AT CARBON TANK 2 THEN, AFTER YOU CONFIRM THE RESULTS AND MAKE SURE YOU INCREASE THE FREQUENCY OF YOUR CHLORINE TESTING UNTIL IT IS RESOLVED, YOU CAN BYPASS 1 AND HAVE IT REBED OR HAVE A NEW ONE INSTALLED WITHOUT SCREWING UP YOUR TREATMENT DAY....sorry about all caps...lol
