Technical gurus,

After an RO interlock correction, seven of fourteen H machines (supposedly?) alarming "Inlet flow Error". However, after an hour, they correct themselves. Has anyone ever seen this? For the record, what are the first possible problems and corrective measures? Lastly, what part/parts would you suspect and have on hand for corrective measures?

Thank you for your in-put

This usually happens when the dearation pump gets air locked after "no water" alarms for too long. Once the water supply is restored after the extended "no water" event, the hydroblock is full, but the dearation pump isn't taking any because it's air locked. If it's not taking any water from the hydroblock, the float switch stays up. If the float switch stays up, you get the "flow inlet error". Happens a lot in acutes when their portables shut down due to low incoming water pressure.

As for a fix, the only real way to "fix" it is to wait and see if the air lock clears or to take the back panel off, get the air out of the dearation pump inlet tubing, reconnect it, disinfect your machine, and set it back up. There's no real "easy" way to fix it but to try to keep it from happening in the first place.

Hope that helps.

Some people dream of success, while others live to crush those dreams.
