i just last week received my shipment of wall boxes from this company; wow!! these are the sweetest wall stations i have ever seen! i put two in over the weekend and first thing on monday i was getting positive feedback from the staff. taking water samples from them was sure a breeze! i can't wait to finish installing the rest of them. what a great job this guy did designing and building these! such a sharp contrast from the cheap, blow-molded polyethylene models i've seen during my career that have poor valving, point-of-use placement and drain basins that overflow if there's more than a coffee cup worth of fluid in there. nice! great product; i would definitely recommend this for any new clinic or (as i'm doing) it's certainly worth the labor to retrofit into existing units.

A little self-promotion there "BioMedBoy". I find it interesting that 2 weeks ago you made a post to "bump" (your word) the topic to the top of the list.

Letting everyone know about your product but "sales tactics" such as this are very distasteful. Were you the "walking commercial" I saw in the exhibit hall in Pittsburgh"? I sure hope the vendors that were there and paid for exhibit space complained about you!

i "bumped" the topic to the top of the list a couple weeks ago, not because of any connection to the wall box company, but because i thought it was something cool that perhaps warranted a look by other people. i could do without your menacing tone, thank you very much. many people who post in this forum say both good and bad things about various machines and products and companies, and do it without being accused of being duplicitous or "self-promoting"!! and i don't know anything about pittsburgh!

If you have a problem with me, please direct that anger at me instead of pouncing on another poster just sharing his thoughts in this forum. Clearly, you have some issues with events at the NANT trade show. Allow me to reply, if you will. I had never been to a NANT conference before, and thus, didn't really know how things were going to be laid out or organized. I went to attend the water seminar on the first two days, and to show my wall station to a couple colleagues and companies I knew were going to attend. Some of the people I wanted to talk to were set up in the trade show. I brought my wall box with me to see them and I also just wanted to check out the other displays in general. I was completely unprepared for two things: the number of wall stations being displayed by other companies (six of them), and the level of interest in my product. Even though I was wearing a t-shirt with my company logo, and I was carrying my wall box, I really hadn't planned on being a "walking commercial" for my product. I simply ended up talking to a lot more folks about it than I had anticipated, and was pleased to make those contacts. Obviously, this attention irritated some of the vendors who were there with their wall stations and who had paid for their display space. The NANT organizers did approach me at one point during the first trade show and admonished me for attempting to sell something without having paid for a booth. Out of respect for them and the other vendors, I immediately returned my wall station to my room, where it remained for the remainder of my stay at the conference. If you were one of the vendors who felt slighted by my appearance, please accept my apologies.

Okay folks we've sorta reached that point where the responsible moderator needs to step in. In this string I have 2 problems:

1) product advertisement - Renalweb is supported by advertisers who pay for the service. Because of this Renalweb is able to provide this and the other free forums and its support to the many "not for profit" and service organizations linked through this site. "Dialysis Wall Stations" in essence your posts equate to free advertising for your product - which by the way looks like a pretty good box. In fairness to our advertisers I have no choice but to close this string and delete the link to your website.

The second problem is the last post of the string which has strayed "off topic". The rules of the forum is that commentary that can be construed as derogatory, contentuous or down right rude will not be tolerated if posted anonymously and without registration. Therefore I am deleting the posting by "not a big deal".
