What upgrades does Fresenius's newer model offer? When did the K machine come out?

The K's are identical to the H's as far as hydraulics are concerned. The modules (blood pump, level detector, etc) and a couple of boards have changed, though. Also, OLC and Diasafe filters that came as options or upgrades on the H's are standard equipment on the K's. The K machine has been out for about 3-4years
As of 6/03 any new machines order for fresenius clinics will recieve k.
