Is this the dialyzer that is used with Fresenius's program that uses the poles that look sort of like traffic lights? Is it true that the dialyzer used with this program can not be used in units unless they are Fresenius?

As far as I know Optiflux 200NR can be used in clinics other than a Fresenius clinic.I just dont how financially sound that would be.

Any dialyzer can be used in any Clinic - Fresenius, Baxter, etc. will sell any clinic their dialyzers. The only differences are the specs and pricing - most companies have dialyzers that compair to other companies.

Patient,
I think you may have been confused about what you were told about the dialyzer and the traffic lights. The traffic lights are exclusive to Fresenius units. Those of us who are not FMC cannot have a traffic light, we can only get a red light that will go off during alarms. I hope this helps.
