I have a K mahine that will go through the entire heat disinfect and with 1 second left on the timer give me a audible alarm with no errors and freeze. I think I remember someone posting about this problem some time ago but I couldn't locate it in the archives.

I have had a bad power logic board cause this.

Just reseat the power logic board. Have seen this several times and reseating works.

I changed out the PLB. I had previously reset it and it didn't get the kink out. Thanks Guys. Another problem resolved thanks to you and the community!

If IC 9 is socketed on the old power logic board try replacing it. On newer K machines it may be soldered directly on without a socket. Also, you can use an H power logic board in a K machine, but you cannot use a K power logic board in an H. The H board has an extra 12 volt circuit on it that is not needed in a K machine. That's why Fresenius is charging $314 for the H board and $537 for the K board, even though the K board has less on it. Go figure, I guess that's why my Fresenius stock keeps going up!
