Where is the best place to order a machine manual for the FR 2008H?

It is my understanding that the machine manuals are only given to customers that have purchased machines. You can buy a manual seperately, buy you must be a current customer, i.e., a dialysis clinic. Correct me someone if I am wrong.

Without the technical backround generally required to comprehend the information provided in the book, I think it would be pretty much useless to you unless you are actually planning on getting into the field, in which case one should be provided to you through your training and/or employer. However, in the event that you did want to pay the $240 price tag for both books (required to really understand the inner workings), it is in fact not available to the public. You must be a company that has an account with Fresenius. Sorry.
