Morning, Hope you can help with this I have a K machine that keeps giving me a online clearence test canceled the staff is not canceling the test does this just mean I have to do the conductivity cell cal?
I would start with that. Do a complete condo. calibration (using a dialyser and letting the machine calibrate the 4 reference points). But before you do that make sure there is no air entering the system from the concentrate or bicarb.

I have also seen this problem recently. The machine was having an intermittent and unreported acid pump alarm, and when that happened coincidentally, it would also cancel the OLC test due to the unstable conductivity.

Hmm. The conductivity is staying around 13.7 then when the olc test kicks in the conductivity goes up to 15.9 should it go higher? ( These machine are somewhat new to me)
If the condo. is going to 15.9 it may just nudge the 16.0 upper limit and go into bypass momentarily and then slip back down to 15.9. Any change in the dialysate flow during the test can cause an OLC test to cancel
Thanks to all, I did the condo cal and so far it seems to be holding. This is a great site for help Thanks again..

both.bacteria begins to build a resistance to a chemical ie. bleach or peracedic acid.It is best to alternate both chemicals to cut down the biofilm.BossDog has the right idea.

If its a k with the new actuator/test board combo, replace. If its an older K try a new test board.

That is after you do the above calibrations noted.
