What's going to happen when there's even less reimbursement money and we still have all these burdensome regulations? Will AAMI ease up? Will CMS close dialysis units? Will the independents survive? Will Biomed pay go up? Don't hold your breath on that last one.

Don't blame AAMI for "Burdonsome Regulation". AAMI creates standards and recommended practices. CMS has taken the easy road by incorporating AAMI documents into the Conditions for Coverage (just as they have done with the CDC infection prevention guidance.)
