What is the standard for LAL levels in dialysate? And the action level? I read the 2000 AAMI standards and they said 5 EU, has this changed? Thanks

It has changed. The dialysate standards are the same as the water standards.

Colony counts should be less than 200 CFU/ml with an action level of 50 CFU/ml.

Endotoxins should be less than 2 EU/ml with an action level of 1 EU/ml.

These are from the 2004 standards and are part of the new conditions of coverage.
