When you are through entering concentrates are you turning the machine off, flipping the switch to go back to dialysis or are you backing all the way out to the initial service mode screen before turning it off? If you just turn it off you are not saving the data, you have to back all the way to the initial service mode screen.

nerf,

Sounds like your machine is losing it's mind. The function Bd. EPROM holds most of the calibrations. You can try this to check out weather it's memory, or the board itself. Swap that EPROM to a known working function Bd. then try saving concentrate info. If the memory holds, bad board, If lost, bad EPROM. When backing out of the enter concentrate field, make sure your choices are highlighted, before you start pressing reset. Let us know what you find. Also, if it's a board you need Fresenius is asking $900 bucks for those, I hope you can utilize another vendor (H&S Technical, perhaps).

Eprom on H functional bd holds no calibrations.
BatRam IC 5 hold calibrations.

Before you start messing around with the Battery Ram ( <g> is correct about the cal.'s),I believe you not only have to back out to the calibration/ diagnostics/options screen, but turn the machine off, and then restart for the concentrate info to be saved.

IC5 is a NVRAM which stands for Non Volatile Random Access Memory. It requires no external power to store data. It holds 32K x 8 bits of memory.

Just asking, Are you entering Concentrates? If I remember correctly with our Hs is we enter and then highlight the concentrates used, once highlighted it should apear in the dialysis concentrate verification screen in Dialysis mode. Its just a check I do before going into calibrations.

you need to press the set button on the machine till you return to the main menu. if you reset it may not hold the calibration. Also press the set button once then once then once till you exit. dont press them fast.

Sounds like the bat ram is faulty. I would try swapping a known good Function Board in TNC mode of course and see if it holds calibration.

Not much help here on this, because we have not entered more than 4 or 5 concentrates on any of our machines. But you can certainly delete concentrates that you are not using and see if that helps with the problem. I don't know the maximum number that can be entered. I suspect that the problem originally was operator error, like not hitting SET at the right time, as I have had the same thing happen to me when entering concentrates.
