Hello,
Just looking for some help. I work for a company that uses dialysis catridges to produce Monoclonal Antibodies. We currently use Kawasumi KF-201-C and Hospal Disscap 180 SE cartridges, we are experiencing difficulty in sourcing a suitable connector for the ICS ports of these cartidges. We used to purchase a product from Gambro (now owned by Hospal)appropriately named "Blood Connector". This connector screwed into the ICS port and had a tapered hose connector (without barb) that allowed addition of tubing to the cartridge. This product is no longer available, and other companies only seem to produce a connector that has hard wall tubing already welded onto it, this is unsuitable for our application as we need to sterilise the tubing by autoclave.

So I was wondering if anyone out there has any ideas!!

Many thanks
Darren

You can try the following web site:
http://www.moldedproducts.com/

They have connectors that attach to the blood side ports of the dialyzers that are flexible.

Gambro makes a priming connector (blood tubing accessory) part number 003-700-000. This may be what you are looking for.

We manufacture this connector with the exception that ours has locking capability
on both ends. We call it the Sani-Lok(tm)
Barrier Adapter, P/N 7000-1050.

The RPC website is: www.rpc-rabrenco.com
