We utilize the "36.83" or "Drake" proportioning because we find the widest range of acid concentrates available for use.
I have 12 facilities and 3 acute sites, several Medical Directors, with a wide range of dialysate compositions ordered.

alex,

I have 13 facilities and we are in the process of changing from 35x to 45x. We are doing this only because at the 45x you use less volume so you have to store less between deliveries.

Are you using fresenius concentrates?
and if you are switching to 45X are you going to get it from the same company?
thanks

alex,

We get our acid concentrate from Solution Technologies and the bicarb powder from Fresenius, this is regardless of which ratio we use.
