Ok I have a K machine that started out with a WD: Fail Long Pulse Alarm so I replaced the Power logic board to fix the problem. Then I had another issue and had to replace the Function Board. As soon as I replaced the function board the power supply blew saying 24 Volt High it blew a couple of caps, a bridge rectifier and the fuses. I replaced the power supply and it blew again. Is it obvious I have a bad function board?

Check the power supply cord and the switches it is attached to. Sounds like a short somewhere that is causing the PS to blow.

Anything that runs off 24 volts from the powersupply (valves, pumps, ect) that becomes a dead short could cause this problem. Would ohm out valves and pumps before starting back up. May would even start up with the act and sensor cables unhooked to make sure the problem is in the bottom end of the machine and not the top.

Could be the actuator board.

You might start by unpluging all your modulals. They could be causing the issue. Then try unplugging the sensor cable, when this is done it takes away everthing run by the sensor board, followed by acuator cable, agaian taking away all thats run by the acuator. This helps isolate the hydrolics from the electronics. Also check your A,B, and c voltagages on that small circut board to the left of the power logic board. That also will help you.

Okay. I finally got my PS back from H&S,checked all my connections, reset all the boards and checked the cables as most of you suggested. I put the new power supply in and while holding my breath, pressed the power switch......beep beep..beep.....pause....initializing.....15%...beep.. beep ..beep...50%...I started breathing again....90%...beep..beep.beep..and 100%...Main screen.. Yippee!

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Does that means that machine cost you two power supplies, a power logic board, and a functional board?

Only one power supply. It was covered under H&S warranty because I had it repaired. Cool

Other than that high point it was still an expensive and time consuming endeavor.
