One of the biomed guys I work with told us one day a PCT pulled 5 machines in the morning because the blood pumps weren't working. It probably would've helped if they used the prime button. LOL

I was very busy and asked another tech to check some component of the water system to see if it was leaking.
At the end of the day I asked her what she had found. She said it was leaking. I asked her what she had done about it. She said she didn't do anything about it. All I asked her to do was to see if it was leaking. I didn't ask her to fix it. I guess you can never assume.
A Clinic Manager called and requested we come to her facility because she thought the RO had a leak. Once the tech arrived he coud not notice anywhere the RO was leaking but there was a acid jug turned over on it side and he felt it was acid on the floor. The CM argue with him and said it was water and to prove her point she reach down and put her finger in it and tasted the solution and said SEE IT"S WATER. How far will a nurse go to be proven right and technical wrong. By the way the RO was not leaking and it was never proven if it was water.
southertech, you said she tasted it!!!!!! BON APPETIT... I used to work with a physician, who has a hobby checking RO water, everyday, by himself, by tasting water... we used to regenerate our softener according to "his taste test" ... he was always right....
She taste the water on the floor!!!! Not out of a sample port.
