I have two machines that have a problem with the TMP driving to -630 during " Dialyzer Emptying " process. This causes an " Emptying Stopped " alarm. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is anyone else using the " Emptying Dialyzer " process.
Thanks, Lumpy

The clinical staff are emptying the dialyzers for too long. They only need to empty them until the dialysate side is free of dialysate. That usually only takes 30 seconds or so. If they are leting thedialyzer empty for longer, the machine will generate this alarm. Once both hansens are attached, the alarm should go away quickly and TMP should stabilize in a few seconds.

If they're not actually emptying the dialyzer and get this alarm, it's probably an issue with your microswitches on the shunt door. If they ARE actually emptying and get this alarm, it can lock up the machine if left unattended for too long. A restart would be required at that point.
