We are in the process of purchasing an RO for a 20 station clinic. We really like the Ameriwater ROs we have in our acute programs.Does anyone have an Ameriwater RO that you are utilizing as a main frame RO ? All opinions good or bad would be appreciated.
Thanks,

YEs...I have the MRO5X series for a 23 station facility...it replaced two of the smaller Ameriwaters...haven't had issues yet...of course it is only 1 month old...haha...it keeps pace with the clinic demand to include reuse but then again the holding tank helps haha

Thanks chs...is this a complete Ameriwater 510k system ...including the pretreatment? Is the RO as quiet as the smaller ones?

We had one at my last location, and it was great. It was just expanded, as the size of the clinic doubled, so it was obviously not as expensive as replacement. It was 510k. Watch out for service providers that may not use approved parts in repairs.
Otherwise, pretty quiet and reliable. Only ding on inspection was our log sheets did not indicate rejection %.

Had a ten year old Ameriwater RO in a 28 station unit (can't recall model), had to replace the pump, which was a piece of cake. Also, upkeep was strait forward and Longevity seemed to be an attribute.

RATS...yes it is 510K...it is very quiet and the best part of the whole thing is, the front panel opens and all of the valves are attached to it so any repairs should be relativily easy...so no more having to pull membranes out to replace a valve...what a GOD send that is!
