Are you asking about the TM 2910 module, which is bright silver tin construction? That is not a Colin product, it is made in Japan by AK (I Think) Medical. and sometimes they register higher pressures than they should. The latest Colin module is the M2600, which is a little dark gray plastic module that has snap together construction.

I am having a error that reads on >.30 sec.cannot figure out how to fix.

i think these are just manufactured cheaply.the tube just snaps in.

FMCFocker,

I feel your pain, one would think Fresenius would have learned their lesson back when they first changed those modules in the K's. They had to replace everyone of those buggers. However, the new design seemed to last, why would they try to re-invent that wheel, again? I guess it pays to have deep pockets?

I have had that error message occur with the TM 2910 modules also. I found a bunch of clay like material in one that was blocking the air flow in the hose and the little slide in hose barb. I had another one that had bleach water in it, I suspect that some one bleached the hsoe with no cuff on it, which filled up the end of the hosee, and when they did put the cuff back on when it deflated it sucked the bleach into the module. I too a syringe and pulled the fluid back out and it has been OK for a while now. So check for foreign matter in your hose or in the little barb.

Usually if it says it's on > 30 seconds, it's because it's not building up pressure which would indicate a leak somewhere. I'd check the cuff first. Then I'd check the tubing, especially if it's that crappy vinyl tubing. It tends to leak around the barb fitting on the BPM and the connectors for the cuff.

Some people dream of success, while others live to crush those dreams.

GTSCSS It does build up pressure the pressure will rise to around 174 and sit there for a bit than slowly decrease.
I also looked for a clogged tubing that seemed to be fine i replaced the cuff with a new one and still same situation.
Finally i just had fresenius send me out a new module. that was installed fri. it has been worked fine so far. but we will see.
I was hoping to get some more feed back on any known problems with these crap box's
