Does anyone know how the National Nephrology Certification Organization certification in Biomedical Nephrology Technology is regarded throughout the dialysis field?

The NNCO Board of Directors includes a number of noteable and respected dialysis stalwarts (Mark Rolston, Vern Taafe, Dan Conception) and the CBNT is the only biomedical certification exclusively for biomeds working in nephrology (that I am aware of). I take note when biomeds have the CBNT certification because it means that this person took the time and effort to get certified!

Canada has a certification for Biomeds working in the nephrology field. It is affiliated with CBET and has the designation 'cdt' Certified dialysis technologist.

Thanks for that information. I was hoping to find a study guide for the test, but there doesnt seem to be one. The NNCO website lists about every text published for techncial issues in dialysis. I guess I'll review these books in lieu of a study guide.
